Herdwatch Wins 250k AIB Startup Academy!

Just 3 weeks ago, in a blog post, we said the Startup Academy was already a Game Changer for Herdwatch. This is now the understatement of the year, after Herdwatch won the first ever AIB Startup Academy. We are absolutely delighted and grateful to AIB, The Irish Times and all partners of this wonderful competition with a prize package worth €250,000!

The competition was very tough with 300 applicants, reduced to 20, then 11 for the 8-week long Academy programme. All 11 finalists presented high quality and passionate pitches, and any of them could have won it, but Herdwatch got the prize and is flying the flag for Agri Technology in Ireland and soon in the UK and other countries.

Of course none of this could have happened without the backing of FRS Network (Farm Relief Services), the hard work of our dedicated team, and the support of the thousands of farmers who have already signed up to Herdwatch.
