How Automated Insights work
Email forwarding
If you receive mart/factory dockets via email, simply forward the attachments to your unique Herdwatch email address. You can also add your Herdwatch Email Address to your account in your local mart to automatically receive electronic copies of your sales/purchase information into your Herdwatch account.
All Irish Cattle and Dairy farmers have a Herdwatch email address as follows:
You can view your emails in the management tile under ‘Email Inbox’
Scan paper copies
Alternatively, using our Document Scanning feature, you can take a paper copy of the dockets and scan them directly into the app.
You can use your camera to scan the dockets and upload them into Herdwatch. Images are saved as PDFs. This will be useful when uploading purchase/sale documents that run onto more than one page as you can upload multiple pages at once.
