It aims to genotype (DNA test) every calf born on participating farms up until 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:8px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s as simple as using a special <strong>tissue tag<\/strong> at birth, which allows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Accurate parentage verification<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reliable genetic indexes<\/strong> like EBI, Eurostar and Dairy Beef Index<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Better breeding decisions<\/strong> from just a few weeks old<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>More traceable and sustainable cattle<\/strong>, which boosts Ireland\u2019s global reputation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:24px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What\u2019s New in Phase 3?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Phase 3 opened on <strong>June 10th<\/strong>, and spots are <strong>limited<\/strong>.
