Today, TSCRA represents over 28,000 members across Texas, Oklahoma, and surrounding states. Their special rangers, who have been enforcing law since 1893, remain at the forefront of cattle theft prevention and livestock protection, with over 25 rangers strategically stationed throughout Texas and Oklahoma. Their extensive brand inspection program continues to play a crucial role in solving cattle thefts, with over 5 million head of cattle inspected annually.
Beyond their law enforcement efforts, TSCRA is a powerful advocate for the cattle industry, representing the interests of ranchers on legislative, regulatory, and economic issues. Working alongside prominent organizations like the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, Texas Beef Council, and the Cattlemen’s Beef Promotion and Research Board, TSCRA remains dedicated to protecting and advancing the cattle industry across the U.S.
