Why Herdwatch makes audit preparation easier
If you have already been recording your compliance events in Herdwatch, then the hardest part of audit preparation is already done. When an inspection or audit comes around, you can quickly generate the reports needed and send them directly to your email.
This makes it much easier to prepare for Bord Bia audits, Department of Agriculture inspections, and other compliance checks without having to sort through piles of paperwork.

Making Bord Bia audits easier
Having records ready and organised can make a major difference during an audit. Instead of searching through paper records, Herdwatch allows farmers to produce exactly what is needed quickly and clearly.
Dairy farmer Paul Thompson from Mohill, Co. Leitrim described how using Herdwatch made his Bord Bia audit much more straightforward, with remedy purchase and usage records generated, emailed, and printed in a matter of minutes.
Stay prepared for inspections
Farm audits and inspections can feel stressful, especially when they are tied to compliance and farm income. The best way to reduce that pressure is to keep records up to date throughout the year rather than leaving everything until the last minute.
With Herdwatch, you can maintain accurate records as you go, helping ensure you are always in a better position when an audit date arrives.
Why digital records help
Digital records save time, reduce mistakes, and make it easier to find the information you need when you need it. This is especially important during inspections where clear, well-organised reports can make the process smoother for both farmer and auditor.
