Common questions
Do I have to type in my whole herd?
No. You can download your herd in a few minutes from BCMS in England and Wales, ScotEID in Scotland or NIFAIS in Northern Ireland. There's a short guide for each in the guides above. Stuck? Our team are happy to walk you through it.
Does Herdwatch work without signal?
Yes. Turn on Turbo Mode from the side menu and keep recording as normal. Everything is saved on your phone and backs up automatically when you turn Turbo Mode off.
Will my EID reader work with Herdwatch?
Herdwatch connects with EID tag readers, weigh heads and other supported devices. If you're not sure about your model, give us a call and we'll check for you.
What happens at the getting started webinar?
We walk you through setting up the app and the everyday jobs, then answer your questions live. It's online, so you can join from the kitchen table. Can't make it? The replay is on this page.
