Is Herdwatch really free?
Yes. With a free account you can bring your herd in from BCMS, ScotEID or NIFAIS, record animals moving on and remedy purchases, and map your fields, at no cost and with no card. If you want everything, you can start a 30-day free trial of the full app at any time.
What's the difference between a free account and the free trial?
The free account is free for as long as you like, with a limited set of features. The 30-day free trial gives you every feature; it needs a card, but you won't be charged if you cancel before your trial ends.
How do I get my animals into Herdwatch?
Herdwatch links directly to BCMS (using your CTS Web Services ID and password), ScotEID (your ScotEID ID and password) and NIFAIS (authenticate and enter the PIN you receive by text), so your registered animals sync straight into the app. For sheep, our support team can enter your flock for you.
What happens to my data?
You control all the data you enter. Herdwatch will never share it without your explicit consent.
I didn't get my password text. What now?
Give it a few minutes, then check you entered the right number. If it still hasn't arrived, call us on 020 3773 2763 (Mon–Fri 9am–5pm) or email info@herdwatch.com.
